California Teamsters Public Affairs Council Endorses Ardy Kassakhian for Assembly

Ardy Kassakhian today announced that the California Teamsters Public Affairs Council has endorsed his campaign for Assembly District 43. Representing over 250,000 Teamster members and their families across the state, the announcement follows an early endorsement for Kassakhian from Teamsters Joint Council 42. “The Fight for $15 has become a reality, but we still have a lot of work to do on behalf of California’s working families,” stated Ardy Kassakhian. “As your next Assemblymember, I will fight to keep good jobs in our state, and ensure that the people who work hard every day have the protections to do their jobs. Kassakhian’s support from working families continues to expand

GLENDALE – Ardy Kassakhian today announced that the California Teamsters Public Affairs Council has endorsed his campaign for Assembly District 43. Representing over 250,000 Teamster members and their families across the state, the announcement follows an early endorsement for Kassakhian from Teamsters Joint Council 42.

About Ardy Kassakhian

Ardy Kassakhian grew up and attended public schools in Glendale. He was first elected Glendale City Clerk in 2005. As Clerk, he has reduced government waste by introducing environmentally sound practices, made election information easier to access and worked to increase voter participation. Ardy graduated from UCLA and the Executive Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He lives with his wife Courtney and their young son in Glendale.

Ardy Kassakhian is running to represent Assembly District 43, which includes the communities of Burbank, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta-Montrose and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Atwater Village, East Hollywood, Franklin Hills, Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz and Silver Lake.
